Needed: Random encounter tables for the Pomarj

I kept rolling 1d6 to check for random encounters when they were in the wilderness, with 1 indicating an encounter, but none ever came up. I rolled, let's see: One coming to the dungeon and one going back; two on the journey to the town; and 4 checks while they slept in town (it was in trouble because their warriors had been killed by the orcs and goblins, so random encounters could happen to it). They made two trips to the dungeon, so that's a total of 10 checks. No random encounters.

But my main reason for wanting charts of the area was to let the players know what lived there. To make them worry.

And, hey, where's a 3E version of the dragonnel? I told the players there were dragonnels around those parts, but they just shrugged it off; so I wanted to scare them with a picture but I couldn't find one (I can only carry the 3.5 books with me--there are so many different books of so many different versions now it would take two semi trailers to haul them all around).

Note to self: when it's late and you're tired, step away from the internet and go to bed.
Actually, I do have a question about the encounter tables in Slavers: Why do some of them have two entries, the second coupled with a percentage? Is it saying, for instance, "Wyvern usually, but Green Dragon 10% of the time?"

That's what I think, but I showed it to my four players and we came up with several more possibilities like, "Only when at night/airborne/on the water/if you're being noisy...."

(We're very good at muddying the waters. In fact, Winnipeg is the anglicised version of the local native term for "Muddy Water.")

What?? You lie!! I looked three times!!

Although *scratch*scratch* I thought it was in there too...?

I'll go take another look.

the Draconomicon has a pic on the WotC site (it don't look like the 1edADnD version though
) i don't know if they have stats.

Uh, no, that's okay, it's in the Tome of Horrors. Page 114. It was the third page I flipped to. Perfectly placed, alphabetically listed, highly visible.

[geezer] I've been saying for twenny years, I need a co-DM!! But nobody ever wants the job 'cause they think it would be boring.... :( [/geezer]
