-- Actually, I agree. It's not a Bad Thing. Not as long as it's made clear up front that that's the case, and that appropriate changes to threat levels are made to compensate. If you feel having those less esoteric ways to permakill is worth the extra work, and will add something to the game, more power to you. I've no problem with that.
