Nercomancers get ALL the love

Man FF Games has yet another book for Necromancers. I think every major d20 company has a supplement for Necromancers, including Natural 20 Press. What is it about these guys? The number of books for them exceeds those of all the other specialties combined. BY THREE TIMES!

I DEMAND more supplements for Diviners! Abjurers! Conjurors! Pah!

And I blame Piratecat! And the Blind Kobold!

Necromancers are just the most archetypal evil wizards. It's hard for people to see them as anything but evil, and since villains are always popular for books, and magic is always popular for books, necromancers just fit the bill perfectly for books all about them. Other specialist wizards just tend to get lumped together into basic books about magic period.

Of course, you're absolutely right in that P-Kitty is to blame. ;)

To add to the pot Necromancer's Legacy should be back from the printer next week and shipping ASAP through the channel, it is a printed and expanded version of Ambients' *insert long title here* necromancer book, it turned out faboo! Keep an "EYE" out for it real soon!

Pah is right. EVOCATION!

More love for the boom spell mage! Because nothing quite says "I love you" like 20d6 points of damage going off in the face.

The allure of power over death is simply fascinating. There is something terribly romatic about it in a Gothic horror sort of way. Trying to cheat death, but at what cost. Unfortunately the few necrobooks I've read seem to be geared more the to the cackling mad stage villian who would decorate his liar in skull wallpaper and reinact his favorite scenes from Night of the Living Dead.

Anywho that is my rant. It would be nice to see a good supplement for each of the specialist, abjurers in particular being my choice, I also like the idea of mage's as guardians and protectors.
