My take on it, is that necromancy is where the most disapointment lies. I'n not going to say everyone, most, etc. But I feel people were disapointed with the necro shaft for wizards continuing into 3rd edition. I think people frequently visualize necros as arcane casters, when not specifically visualizing D&D. And yet when they get to D&D clerics of fluffy bunnies and sunshine are usually beter necros than a specialist wizard in the necromancy school.
It being the school of amgic with the largest amount of disatisfaciton means IMO it is the school with the biggest possible market.
reiella worry is why I haven't bought the encro books yet, I'm worried about the scewed balance when new spelsla re added or spells are changed.
