D&D General Neverwinter Nights 2 Enhanced Edition Is Coming in July.

The "village fair" tutorial is approaching the inn in terms of popular adventure starts.
Indeed! But isn't the village in a swamp? Or is it just a forest?

He is nothing compared to the gnome! NWN2 is full of really irritating (and mechanically poorly built) companions. The only ones I find tolerable are Sand and Warlock Bob (is that the right name?)
I think I had blocked the gnome from my memory. The reason I dislike the paladin so much is not just because he's irritating but because the game assumed my female PC had romanced him even though I hadn't. It forced me to play through some love triangle cut scene thing.

Swamp. The Mere of Dead Men in fact.

Ah. I've never played with a female PC so I didn't know that. I found him something of a non-entity generic paladin. Not that I didn't find the romance option for male PCs about as appealing as a limp lettuce.

Tragic, that sounds equally unappealing to me. 😅

I don't plan on forking over a lot of money for this game either though. So it depends on how much they price it.

I never played any of the expansions. What makes that one so great?
Good story, good characters, good atmosphere and sense of place.

Storm of Zehir is in some respects better than the OC too. It’s a sandbox, and as such it has minimal story, but it does have more freedom of action.

I haven’t played Westgate.
