Neverwinter Nights Release Date (?)

I haven't noticed this on the first few pages of the General Discussion (although it may be posted while I'm typing this).

According to the official Neverwinter Nights site, the release date is June 25, 2002 (Pre-orders are beign taken). I won't hold my breath, but that's sooner than I thought.

That's an understandable attitude, from a fan standpoint. I have a friend, however, that is both a 3rd Ed. player and an employee of one of the companies working on the game, and I cannot accurately describe how excited he is about the it -- he's amazed at how well it does 3rd ed., how beautiful it is, and how fun it is.

So I'm still looking forward to it's release, whenever that may be!

I remember back when this game was going to be released the same time as the players handbook. Of couse, better late than another Pool of Radiance: Ruins of Myth Dranor.

Well they're taking pre orders. That tells me its not Vaprware.

Ever since their dispute with Interplay, we thought it was going to be vaporware. Honestly, I don't know what the hell is going on with Interplay's business operation. But it's enough to get a no-confidence vote from me.

But now that Infogrames have become BioWare's publisher for NWN, it's as close to reality as you can get. Even if they do not meet the Summer release date. We can be sure it will be released this year.
