Two months ago or so I became a Paizo Suprscriber. Nuff Said!
My group has been on a temporary hiatus, but looks like we'll be gaming again in a couple of weeks.

What is Razor Coast?

Razor Coast is Nick Logue's Sinister Adventures first adventure. Due out in June 2008...but not yet done.

I look forward to it very much....It is a pirate adventure/high seas/nasty shark gods/evil demon squid things/ kind of adventure.

BUT it is STILL not out. And his website is currenly SNAFU'ed.

The adventure looks tasty, but I'm still hugnry, and despite dropping full payment 6 months ago, I ain't got fed yet.

If I were me now, I'd advise meself to wait 'till it is actually done, and THEN buy it.

Also, Ebon Shroud, the next adventure from his company looks super awesome.

I'm starting to resent the situation (can ya tell?) but I still admire his writing. It just looks like the man's company is...treading water..at this point.

Aberzanzorax (who will buy just about any of Nick Logue's good stuff, but JUST MIGHT get tired of waiting for it).

I'll probably but the Pathfinder book when it is released but that's about it for 3.5 stuff. I have enough 3.5 stuff to last me a couple lifetimes, and I mostly play 4E now anyhow.

I'd just like to highly recommend this book. I can honestly say that I'm a fan.
It's already on my amazon shopping list :). I heard it's very derivative, but that doesn't have to be a bad thing.
Is there anything new in this book, other than the two Experimental Might books? (anything worthwhile for those who already have those books?)
I don't think so. The chapters are somewhat rearranged in order to combine both pdf's in a sensible way, but the contents is the same. It's just a print version for those people who don't have one yet but would like to have a real book.

The name Jim Ward just sets alarm bells off for me. In my opinion, FFE were responsible for many of the mechanically worst 3E books produced. I wonder how many retailers were put off buying 3rd party 3E books due to the awful stuff that FFE managed to put out?

They certainly made me look a lot closer at what I was buying.

Olaf the Stout

Well, I never sweated the mechanical errors that seemed to bother others. All I was worried about was ideas, and the ideas were great. If skills being off a point here and there bother you then yeah, you didn't want FFE products. If you wanted good ideas then you'll probably like them.

Besides, Dungeonworld is more about setting/fluff than mechanics. I found the idea of PC's dying and fighting their way back to the living world to just be great.

Steampunk Musha: Victoriental Adventures from Empty Room Studios.

Also, I know that Skortched Urf' Studios will continue to release more 3.5E PDFs, many of which I've enjoyed so far.

Dreamscarred Press has at least two more Mind Unveiled PDFs coming out; and hopefully that won't be the end of their 3.5 offerings.

UKG Publishing seems to be trying to get back on track with their Year of the Zombie line, since they recently released Dead Future Rebooted and issue #14 of A Survivor's Guide to Risen America, so with any luck we'll see more of that soon.

At some point during 2009, hopefully Craig Cochrane (aka Upper_Krust) will finish and release Godsend, his last 3.5 book for the Immortal's Handbook series.

I'm pretty sure Skirmisher Publishing will release some more 3.5E products as well.

It'd be nice if Octavirate Games reappeared...they have yet to produce a book I haven't liked, and damn it, I want more Exorsystems, Inc. products!

Yep. One of the biggest reasons I went to C&C. Combine it with my house rules document and you have "The one ring that binds them all..." the easiest and smoothest. I have "seen signs" that my house rules ideas will be showing up in the upcoming CKG as well. One sign I have clearly seen looks even better than the way I do it now.

So if you have multiple editions sitting on your book shelves, C&C is a way to go in order to make all of those books worth pulling off the shelves again. I had almost all of my books stored in boxes out in my garage. Hundreds of them are back inside my house, sitting on many of my book shelves. Its been fun reading through them for ideas and inspiration again.

Sounds interesting. Where might I find these house rules?
