Hi friends!

I am so proud to present my first self-published piece in a long time! Talos is a heritage that is sort of my take on the Constructed. I really wanted to emphasize the themes of dungeonpunk, especially considering gestures vaguely at current events

Some of y'all know me--I worked on the A5e heritage system, as well as the cleric and warlock classes. I also have been working with Purple Martin games on the Manual of Adventurous Resources series. I've also brought us some fun threads this past summer on "making monsters matter." (I fully plan to bring these approaches to books sometime soon!)

Anyway, Included in this supplement are the following rules expansions:
  • New player heritage: the talos
  • 6 new heritage gifts to customize your talos character
  • 3 faceplates to further customize your talos
  • 3 paragon gifts to reward exemplary talos characters
  • A new spell for creating even more talos characters
  • Lore to enhance your talos RPs and dungeonpunk storylines

Available now on DTRPG for $4.99: Dose of Dungeonpunk - The Talos Heritage (A5E) - Josh Gentry | DriveThruRPG.com

I got a comped version 'cause I did a -little- bit of editing on it, but it's really good for a nice alternative to Warforged.

Lots of fun narrative elements and the art is pretty crazy.

The clever reader might also appreciate the notes of Mass Effect and Sword Art Online: Alicization.

What kind of half-talos are you thinking?
NPC. Gnome traits with Crystalline Psionics & Master of Creation. A cleric of Gond and master of the League of Wheelmen (that's the college that investigates ancient technology, since i am also using Monty Cook's 'Numenera' in the campaign). Master Chandu has already been described as having upgraded parts of their body with ancient devices.

This is great, really fun idea that I might borrow for an NPC blacksmith I'm working on.

is there a reason why drivethrurpg wants me to have a foundry vtt account for this even though it's a pdf?
🤔 Well, there is a free Foundry module attached... But that shouldn't cause you any problems... But clearly it is.

Can you DM me with more details? I'd be happy to troubleshoot

ah, ok. i just didn't know why it kept asking me for a foundry vtt username.

no need - i bought it just now and i got the pdf just fine.
I'm glad it got figured out!

As for me, I discerned why it was bothering you for that information and I believe I corrected it. It shouldn't bother you or anybody else going forward. Thank you for bringing it to my attention! :)
