It looks like the last of this seasons "genre" shows has finally appeared. When I heard that the series was pushed back to the spring to be reworked I was sure that it would be a dog. It does seem that they actually used the time to fix the problems with the series.

It's pretty early for me to decide on this show. I liked it, but could easily see it becoming cliche and boring if it falls into a pattern. It will be interesting to see how they mix the "story of the week" and the romantic subplot as well. The wrong mix there could easily sink the show.
The Metacritic reviews seem to indicate that tonight's episode is pretty strong, so that's promising.

Seemed like a decent cop show. The genre part is very minor and seemingly irrelevant. Yes they had genre subplots but for me success or failure will depend on its ability to be a good cop show.

I think they used the good parts of a cops series (Law and Order for example) with the good parts of the highlander series (the immortal flash backs). I'll be watching this series.

I'm sorry I missed the premiere (car problems). Steve Henderson was my acting teacher in college, and I'm looking forward to seeing him on the little screen. (He does mostly stage work, but I've caught him in small roles on Law & Order, as well as other shows.) He was an awesome guy, and one of a very small handful of people I can say changed my life.

I watched the pilot - so far, it looks like a cop show with an angstful cop. Not exactly groundbreaking.

I tried watching what might have been the 2nd episode, but it was on at the same time as a repeat of Reaper so I had to watch Reaper. I play boardgames on the original Reaper showing night so every repeat is new to me.
