New Armor Enhancements

First Post
As I am sitting here working on my weekly home campaign, and I realize that the core 3.5, and most of the 3.5 expansion books, do not have much in the way of enhancements for amor. I would like to start a discussion about new enhancements for armors.

Here goes my first one:

Featherweight:
Featherweight armor gives the appearance of layered feathers etched into the armor. For weight and movement purposes, featherweight armors are one category lighter than normal. Heavy armors count as medium and so on. Spell failure chances with the featherweight enhancement on them are decreased by 10%, maximum Dexterity bonus is increased by 2, and the armor check penalties are lessened by 3 (to a minimum of 0)

Featherweight armor weighs half as much as the same item made as normal.
Light armor - +2,500 gp
Medium armor - +10,000 gp
Heavy armor - +22,500 gp
Shield - +2,500 gp

Your thoughts or your own Armor Enhancements?

Yes. The prices are higher though. Also, in some worlds (like my home campaign), the GM may choose that certain metals are rare or nonexistent. Thus why I am trying to come up with something similiar.

Plesentries away!

I made these up for no real reason

Mushroom armour: Crafted by the most skilled leather workers and herbalists this Mushroom armour has all the qualities of a masterwork padded armour. Whilst mainly used by Svirfneblin, it is also produced by Myconoids; some has even filtered up to the surface. It has an altered Glitterdust effect usable 6 times a day; instead of causing blindness the spores it exudes cause drossiness and act like a lullaby spell.

Faint Conjuration; CL 5th; Craft Magic Arms and Armour, Glitterdust, Lullaby; Price 34,590; Cost 17,377 + 680 XP

Barkskin armour: This armour is crafted from bark and is rough to the touch. It gives a +5 armour bonus, +4 max dex and -2 check penalty. The arcane failure is 10%, it is light armour and weighs 10 pounds.

Faint transmutation; CL 12th; Craft Magic Arms and Armor, Bark skin; Price 50,000 gp; Cost 25,000 gp + 2,000 XP.
