Of the two, I think Gosset's probably the one with the stronger presence, but
he doesn't seem to have a very wide range. Luckily, I think a Jaffa is right up
his alley.
As for Bridges, he's no acting heavyweight, but he's quite competent. He's really
good at doing 'responsible father figure' and 'out of water... father figure' so he'll
will probably fit right in as The New Commander of SGC.
While neither casting choice thrills me in particular, like if they'd hire... oh, say
Malcolm McDowell as a villain (pleasepleasepleaseohplease some show hire him as
a recurring villain) or something, I feel fairly confident that they'll do well.
My only fear is that, as the Old SG-1 Dynamic is probably pretty much dead now,
that they won't be able to establish a new interesting one.
