New Class -- Divine Agent

Inlicere

First Post
EDIT: A second class for the setting (the "historian", an Indiana Jones-like class) has been posted to the google group too.

This is a class I created for the Heaven Emptied campaign; I'd love to get your impressions. In this campaign, the mortal races have abandoned the gods (bad feelings after the cataclysm, you know), so there are no clerics or paladins.

The Divine Agent is a secret priest. Since the worship is secret, very few of the powers are flashy (no radiant attacks, etc.).

I imagine you could also use this class in a setting where clerics exist as the public presence of a god, but the divine agent did the gods dirty work.

The PDF for the class is here.

I've also created a google group for the campaign, although material is just starting to appear there.

Is it safe to say that the Divine Agent is a divine striker? The PDF lists a power source, but not a role.

The role was left out because I was interested in getting feedback from the community on that. On the WotC forums, some light analysis was done that indicated that the class is leaning a bit toward the Leader role, but it's clearly a hybrid.

Now that I've got "round 2" of the Historian done, I'm going to work on the Divine Agent again, so let me know if you have any thoughts or interests. I just focused on the Historian first because there was so much more community interest in it.

Cool! I'm not in a position to be able to do any practical playtesting, but I can certainly look over the class carefully and offer my amateur-rank opinion on the game design.

Thanks for the hard work on both classes, btw!
