Alrighty, I can log in, but it doesn't let me do anything beyond that. Am I missing anything? I'm logged in with my gmail account, should i also sign up to the website? Or are there tools/programs I should have to make changes and additions? Ty, btw for hosting this, it's cool looking, and I'd like an opportunity to place our contributions from the Original Creations thread there as another source for them.

tin -

just curious as to whether google sites has a message board capability? i didnt seem to be able to find one.

wis

It doesn't. That's what EN World is for!

Seriously, I think it's designed more for Project Management and wiki type functions. It does have comment fields and a blog type page - and you can put widgets & embed any kind of stuff - so that's cool.

Does it have a text wiki widget, like Wikipedia or any of the wikifarms? I'm about to start a couple of wikis related to The Gamer Dome and I've been looking at options. Since Google Sites isn't even advertised on their apps list I had no idea it existed. If it doesn't have a simple text wiki, though, it's not going to work.

P.S. I should note that all the work on this site will be covered under a Creative Commons Attribution-Noncommercial-Share Alike 3.0 United States License. In short, you may copy, sample, and remix any content for non-commercial purposes as long as you attribute the work to the proper artist. Woo!

I think it is great that WotC has come around and agreed to allowing their IP to be utilized and exchanged under that license. What attritbution have they decided best covers their contributions?

That wasn't WOTC's decision, but to be honest, everything we post here is wide open already - with no real clear terms. SO I decided that if I was going to create a site for us to work with, that our work (templates, images, themes, etc) should be under some sort of limited copyright.

Keep in mind that I'm not trying to step on WOTC's IP here - it's more of a set of guidelines regarding our textures, icons, etc- not the rules contents of the cards.

Propagandadroid: I'm not sure what you mean, but any collaborator can edit any page... If you have a gmail account (or want an educatedgamer one) - then I can invite you as a contributor, and you can see for yourself!

VBMEW-01: You have been invited as a collaborator! Just hop over to http://4e.educatedgamer.net Note that you need to be logged into your gmail account if you want to be able to edit content.
