New D&D computer game!

Hey, I got my copy of GAMEINFORMER, a computer game magazine and it has an article with the makers of loerd of the rings movie comuter game will be doing a game based in Forgotten Realms. They are doing the Dark Elf Triloggy by R.A. Salvatore. The name of the company is called Stormfronty so I wll try to fnd out more on this.

Can't wait to hear more specific news on this project. The Dark Elf trilogy could make a cool computer game.

Ok I read more into the article and found that it is done the same way the LOTR games wher you have 3 main characters. a female elf thief - Zhai, a male sorcerer - Illius and a male fighter - Rannek ( not sure on the races of the two males). I will try to find a website for this.

10 levels in the game. The game start out wityh awar between, two generals, a Slaad and a Githyanki.

Game is "scheduled" to be out at the end of the year. The pics in the magazine looks like the game will be 3 person view.

Ok the other thing I found out for this game is that it's a PS2 game. Not sure if any other plaforms will be available.

This could be interesting. The game looks sort of Dark Alliance-ish, but with a few Tomb Raider-ish platform elements.

Doesn't look like it's based on the Dark Elf trilogy, but the preview mentions that cameo appearances by well-known FR characters are likely.

I'll definitely be looking forward to this. I haven't played the LotR games due to my undying hatred for EA (the bastards).
