New DCs for skills

I'm hoping maybe they'll release a "patch" we can print out and paste over top. I doubt it but one can dream, right? Even if they don't, I bet someone with good photoshop skills could do one ... I would but I doubt I'll have the time what with baby #2 having just been born.

They already did that, including the correct colours and cutting marks.

Stalker, would you be willing to run your original analysis of the skill challenge system with the errata changes? I'm very curious to see the result, ceteris parabus.

I'm going with Easy 10, Moderate 15, and Hard 20 at 1st level for skill checks for now.

Why?

Because it should be an easy challenge not an easy activity. If Easy = DC 5 then an untrained weak PC with 8 Str can climb out of the pit 75% of the time? Anyone with a good stat or training can do it auto.

If I wanted the above numbers, I'd prob just save the rolls and let the PCs climb out, spot the clue, etc.

I'm not saying the numbers aren't a bit low....but I wouldn't call climbing out of a pit easy.
