But we just had the Summer slow down! When is the speed up?

Okay, so who all is currently in the Tavern? By my count...

Some of these folks were interested in a game Halford was considering putting together, I believe.

In any case, I was contemplating putting together a short mission to get some of these folks out of the tavern. By short, I mean a simple objective (guard duty on a caravan or ship, or a retrieval mission), two or three combats, a skill challenge or two, and back to the tavern for the next epic to come along. This would be a stand-alone adventure.

Would there be any interest in such a thing? If so, I'll try to sketch enough out this weekend to run it by the other judges, and then start next week.

Not sure if I missed anyone, or if all those listed would be interested, but it would be an interesting group - lots of melee (which means lots of flanking for those two rogues), lots of defenders, no leaders.

Quick adventure, could be interesting. If Halflord is not ready, he can plan to do it after that short adventure. I would be willing to join. For teh lack of leader, we at least have a paladin, and it is for that kind of situation I have comeback strike.

 

[KenHood]

Nothing seems to be happening with the Closed Eye. I'd be up for a different adventure.

 

[Vlastos]

I too am waiting on Halford's game but would consider a quick adventure in the interim. At this time, my wizard, Vlastos, is still waiting for both Judges' approval. I've already updated against one critique, so this should be a formality. If my character's status is not a problem or if the approval process can be expedited, then I'm interested.

I'd hate to steal you away from Graf, KenHood. He did mention he'd be posting mostly M/W/F for a bit, due to business, but I'm sure he'll get the game back in gear soon.

Even so, Velmont and Vlastos is a start, so I'll start putting pen to paper (or, fingers to keyboard, really).

And Vlastos, don't worry about adventuring without approval. You can start an adventure without approval, you just can't receive experience until you're approved, which I'm sure will be soon (and I'll see about taking a look at the approval queue this weekend, too).

Well I was looking for a compliment of five to begin, but I can certainly wait for a while for a bit of good old hack 'n' slash.

Well, there are five+ in the Tavern, Halford, so don't mind me if you're ready for your game. I just thought I'd bridge the gap and give the tavern folks something to do while you created your more intricate adventure. You can take this crowd and I can always step in with a quick game for the next batch of new characters.

I'd prefer to go for Halford's game since it seems tailor made for Step, but if we don't have the people for it for some time I'd be interested in going for a short one with garyh (and thanks much for the opportunity garyh).

As it is though I'm a little shocked that Halford's hasn't been swarmed.
