First Post
A new dragon article about how to implement epic destinies in 3.5. A little bit of interesting fluff and some possible hint on how the destinies works in 4ed.
I'll never played at epic tier in 3.5 (but i own and readed the ELH) but IMO the powers a PC gains at 21+ are pretty awesome superheroic, i say this in truly optimistical way.
A side note, maybe a little cliche but Eternal Hero (im a morcoock fanboy :) ) and Mythic Shadow are my favourites and i hope they are in 4ed.

This was already posted. It was moved to the general thread, though, because it's about 3.5.
I will say that I like the fact that it brings strange powers to different classes. Imagine a Fighter who can suddenly cast some powerful spells out of nowhere because he's tapping into his reincarnated soul. I like what this says about 4th edition.

Epic destinies seem to add the concept of "Winning" to D&D. I'm not sure how I feel about this. On the one hand, I've always liked that D&D doesn't really have a winner, or even an end. But then again... the accomplishment of bringing a character to its ultimate destiny... this may be a wonderful feeling and allows players to retire an old favorite character with the ultimate dignity.

It may grow on me.
