So I was thinking about short rests and how they they use hit dice. Would it be broken if you could regain a number of hit dice after a short rest? Like 1-3 or a quarter of your player level rounded up? It would be interesting if you could get a feat like that.
Feat Name
Your vitality is unmatched by most. You gain the following benefits.
You increase your CON score by 1 to a max of 20. You regain one Hit Die after a short rest.

Well I mean for the gritty realism where short rests are 8 hours and long rests are 1 week

We use the gritty realism variant. I wouldn't want to add that. Maybe 1HD, but certainly no more than that.
