All that said only 14 people have voted, so I wouldn't consider it a particularly decisive vote. Of those 14 people, Savage Worlds and Other lead with 6 votes each.

The problem with game-specific forums is that you'll get virtually no traffic from people who aren't interested in a particular game. I think the Star Wars experiment went well in part because you wrapped Trek in there as well.

I would think a leaning more towards genre, and less towards specific games, might be more constructive.

I second this.

Also, I will only see/read any new forum if you include it in "All Discussion."

As Star Trek/Star Wars does not appear in the unified discussion forum, I have never seen or posted in any of it.

So, "World of Darkness & Other Horror RPGs" or "Call of Cthulhu & Other Horror RPGs" ? Which one is more popular and likely to draw more folks in?
How about "World of Cthulhu"?*

But, seriously, I see what Morrus is getting at with mentioning specific systems to initiate discussion. Is it possible, maybe, to have a second "strap line" for each sub-forum? So, for example, "Horror and Supernatural RPGs" as a general "genre" forum with a subtitle "For discussion of Call of Cthulhu, World of Darkness and similar games themed on horror".

*: Or "Call of Darkness"?

And Dread. Might want to include that in the list. (Not that I've played it, but I know Piratecat had a fairly long thread about it at one point.

It's tempting, just for the name "Call of Darkness"!

As far as horror priming the pump go, I've got dozens of Kaidan threads here (Japanese horror), there are many Dread game threads, Call of Cthulhu, World of Darkness and many others - it shouldn't take more than a look for horror game threads in the search tool. Heck if there were going to be a least a temporary forum on horror games, tell me before you do it, and I'll create a current Kaidan thread to discuss horror matters.

Of this poll, I could only select "other" as I don't play super hero games, and I'm not a Fate fan, and have never looked at Savage Worlds.
