New FR DM Screen impressions

Who's paying $20 for this?

It didn't cost me $20. It cost me 12.95. Worth the money in my opinion, although I suppose I would have continued to be perfectly happy with the regular DM's screen. I bought it more for the encounter booklet than anything else.

&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp The artwork on the panels looks sweet (no pun intended) - in any case, it's much better than the original D&D3e DM screen! :)

&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp The Encounters Book inside is very nice as well.

&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp And lastly, the whole thing costs $12.95 + tax, not $20. ;)

A question...

What's the quality of the material it's printed on? Is it pretty thick, or is it flimsy like the first printing of the first screen?

i feel like a idiot for proclaiming it was $20.

opps. :)

Hehe, we've all been there once or twice.

Hmm, I think I may have to get this screen. I have the FRCS and Magic of Faerun. I don't use FR and never had any interest in it in 2E, but the 3E FR products are just so nice it's hard to resist buying them. I enjoy the pictures, slick paper, and high quality construction, but the setting holds little interest for me. I just use the new races, feats, skills, spells, classes and items. In short, I use it for the new rules and inspiration.

that is the beauty of the new frcs book. it is so indepth that you can do whatever you want with it. although i do run a fr game, if i did not i would still use the book for ideas like races, skills, feats, spells, and the like.
