Hi everyone, this is a new app I've been working on for rpg fans. Let me know what you think, k? ;)

Gamer's Abacus is the digital solution for your analog gaming. Leave the dice bag at home! You'll be able to keep track of scores, rolls, and status changes in your customisable card games, role playing games, and any other gaming that requires a bag of dice, tokens, or scorecard.

Gamer's Abacus features an easy to read and manipulate scrolling score and change history as well. This app is easy to use and you'll be gaming in seconds.

Features:
D20 dice roller (2,4,6,8,10,12,20,100) with up to 6 at a time, and unique/unusual dice for supported games.
Game history log keeps track of points and rolls for each player, as well as past games and their outcomes.
1-6 players
Lots of colorful tokens make keeping track of statuses more flexible.
Custom support for many popular games:
- Dungeons and Dragons
- Magic the Gathering
- Savage Worlds RPGs
- Warhammer Fantasy Battles
But it fits well with any card, tabletop or penpaper RPG!

You might want to consider asking some mods to move this toSoftware, Computers, Video Games and D&D Utilities - EN World: D&D / RPG News & Reviews . it might seem that General is more popular - but the thread will sink in no time. In Utilities it'll hang for a while (note that only users with active community supporter account have access to 'search' on EnWorld).

I have to admit, such utilities are the first thing I thought of when I first saw iPad, they really make my Geek Nerve tingle. It's great to see that a a lot of useful programs like this sprout all over the place.

Will you be implementing skins? As is, it's more useful to players as GM will have to track monsters on his own; so it will be somewhere in sight of everyone, and while clean, this outlay might be a reason enough not to get it. If so, will there be a way to use skins made on your own?
And are you planning to expand it for purposes of monster tracking for GM's? (ie - two pages, one for PC's and one for NPC's, you switch to whichever you want to use).
Or maybe is it possible to run two Abacuses at the same time (which would solve the problem)?

Also, what's the price on this baby?

Thanks for the suggestions mate. :) I'll see about moving the thread (noob question: how do you contact a moderator on this forum?)

About the skins, would a GM want the monster health/etc to be private from other players, like, hideable? Skins are an interesting idea I'll definitely look into. I try to implement requests as often as I can. :) I think user-made skins would be next to impossible because of the way ipad apps access application data however.

The app is US$3.99 right now on the store. I've updated it with new features several times, so it just keeps growing! lol.

You could post something highly inflammatory and widely insulting and a Mod'll be round in no time. Alternatively, you could just PM one :)
