new Ghost Rider movie trailers

While I must admit that ol' skullface looks mighty impressive onscreen (and Nic Cage doesn't look half bad as well), I have zero faith in this film being any good. As long as Mark Steven Johnson is at the helm, I feel this flick will suffer the same fate as his other disaster, that being Daredevil. I'm still pretty pissed off that he butchered that one.

Hmm, I actually consider the Director's Cut of Daredevil to be a pretty good comic book movie. I guess different people have different tastes and all that.

Saw the new trailer with X3. I was pretty impressed; Cage looks like he's gonna pull this off. We'll still have to see, of course, but it looks quite good. I don't have a great deal of knowledge about the character, but it seems pretty close to what I do know.

Sounds like we were at the theater Friday night. ;) Looks good, even with Nic Cage in it.

But then, my cousin's the big GR fan...

The vast majority of negative opinions of the Daredevil movie--in my experience, at least--are based on the theatrical release. I know of very few people who didn't like the director's cut.

That being the case, I may have to give the director's cut a chance then. I hope they do something similar with Elektra then as well.

Never seen the Director's Cut, so I can't judge. Maybe I'll take a gander at it if I have a chance.

I've been meaning to try the Director's Cut for some time now, ever since I first heard good reviews of it. On the other hand, I just saw DD on tv again the other night, and had completely forgotten how godawful it was. Since one of my biggest dislikes of the movie is the dialogue and the acting, I am rather leery that the Director's Cut will change any of that- I'm assuming they didnt' recast and rewrite for the DC? :)
