New Greyhawk Message Board

First just let me say that this is not spam, I asked if I could post this before posting.

Now on to the good stuff

Are you a fan of Greyhawk? Do you like 1st edition? Do you like 3rd edition? Do you think everything after Gary left (or was ousted) from TSR is crud? Do you hail and praise Carl Sargent as a hero-god?

Well, it all doesn't matter! I have created a Greyhawk message board for ALL fans of the setting, no matter what your preferences or prejudices! Heck, even Gary's welcome

The idea of this board was born of the frustration I felt after seeing the schisms in Greyhawk fandom and being sick and tired of going to five different message boards only to hear five different views on why the other four suck!

So, I created a sixth At least here, I only have to go to one message board to hear everyone's arguments and at least it's all about 'hawk.

So come on over and talk 'hawk!

You might think about announcing this over at Dragonsfoot as well--we've got quite a few 1e Greyhawk fans there, but no forum dedicated specifically to Greyhawk.

Heh, another Aussie. You know, I'm constantly surprised at how many Aussie gamers are online, especially considering that I find it so hard to get a group together. It's almost like the ratio of Aussie gamers online to the ratio of Aussie gamers offline is 10:1, which of course makes no sense whatsoever because for that to be true, 9 of those gamers would have to exist in the net ether.

It could be because it is so hard to get a group together we've all gone online to play through other avenues. I know for awhile I was only playing via email games. Now it allows me to play more games than I could play live.

Perhaps not. but the real problem is probably those few militant 'hawkers whole feel only their way is the true way. I've played a variety, including Rolemaster Greyhawk. I must admit, I really like the dark feeling of the FTA 'hawk though...aside from the silliness over Rary/Robilar.

Although, the current game I'm involved in is set at the height of the Suel Imperium which has been cool so far. Kicked some Suel ass last session
