New Hawkmoon website full of free OGC!

Announcing the official HAWKMOON ADVENTURES website!

In support of the Necromancer Games modules What Evil Lurks, A Lamentation of Thieves, and The Bonegarden, we have developed a Hawkmoon website that specializes in providing new and original Open Game Content.

Come get free NPCs, spells, feats, martial arts styles, wondrous items, races, gods, rules, and more! These goodies are for use in ANY campaign world, not simply Hawkmoon, so you can plug them into your home campaign and use them immediately!

We are accepting submissions for more OGC treasures, so read our submission guidelines and send us your material! Our goal is to provide regular installments of Open Game Content for use in any fantasy roleplaying world.

Also check out our live game-related newsfeed and our Hawkmoon discussion forum.

Come browse our OGC at Hawkmoon Adventures!

Moorcock

Does this have anything to do with the Michael Moorcock Hawkmoon novels?
Not at all.

My first module through Necromancer Games needed a "generic" campaign setting, so we quickly cooked up a world called Hawkmoon. Since then, we've greatly expanded this world through other modules--most recently The Bonegarden --and we're quite proud of how it's turning out.

As for the name "Hawkmoon," are there any U2 fans out there?

Ah. Kinda confusing, considering there is a "Hawkmoon" RPG. Which while out of print, is supposedly being re-done by the people who put out the Corum book. (It's actually in print in France).

Oh, well. Nothing like generating a little confusion among titles!

At any rate, we wanted to post some OGC because there isn't one solid site that does nothing but give away free stuff. We hope Hawkmoon can be one of those sites. Though right now we only have a dozen or so items, we will add a few every 2 to 4 weeks.

And of course we accept submissions.

I am a fan of First Edition. My favorite thing about Third Edition is the open exchange of game information. This makes the game more vital, I think, and for this I praise the men and women behind the OGL. So everyone come over to Hawkmoon Adventures and take advantage of our free creativity.
