New Human-raised Half-Elven Favoured Class?

Umbran, I wasn't saying there was a requirment to be constructive (indeed, I never used the word, you did), but merely that he should try to be (which he was after that prompt). In any case, I am sending you an email about these successant threads in a few minutes.Umbran said:

I would have chosen 'Any' had it been offered, as having been raised by Humans I can see them getting that advantage (elven raised, however . . .).
As that was not an option, I was not too sure what to vote for. I considered Sorcerers, but they do not seem as magical as full elves, and they are raised by even less magical humans. I considered Rangers (and nearly voted for them, actually), but their magic being divine eventually stayed my hand. In the end I chose 'Bard' - a wanderer who has some skill in arcane magic.
As for the current voting:

36 Bard
07 Ranger (* 12 votes, if you combine these two variants of the same class)
06 Ranger, Urban variant

I'll probably choose Ranger for the Elven raised Half-Elf.

I'll give this thread a bump so that the poll might gain a few more votes (at 79 votes it has the least of any of the polls so far presented) - although at this point I think Bard has such an overwhelming lead as to make even twenty more votes inconsequential (except for runner-ups and second, third place, although I note that Ranger / Urban Ranger seems to have second / third place in the bag).
Maybe in a day or two it will be time for the next poll - Half-Elf raised by Elves, I presume? I will vote Ranger on that one, I think, although just as Ranger had a small but significant following on this poll, I'm guessing that Bard might be a notable followup on the next poll.

Any. Half elf is Any, Humans are Any -- why wouldn't a half-elf raised by humans be Any?
