Google searches led me here while looking for information on the upcoming 5th Edition.

I haven't played any RPGs since AD&D 1e. The rumblings on the new edition has me pre-ordering the books and looking for a game. I'm going to try playing online with Roll20 and might even try to track down a local in person game. I would also like to teach my kids how to play when they are a little older. After only a few minutes looking around here it seemed like the perfect place to start.

Found the link to this forum on the SRD. I started visiting very regularly when 5e was announced and I wanted to get all the news stuff.

I used to be a regular at the Giant in the Playground forums, but I didn't find it's community (specially the moderators, but the posters are not exempt from this) too welcoming.

I'll take Morrus over Rich any day of the week thankyouverymuch (even though I am a HUGE fan of OOTS). They do have some great homebrews over there, I'll give you that much.
