New Minis Prices

Indeed - the price of regular packs will be $13 from now on. (That's still good value, btw - especially with the obscene price of oil, which adds to both transport and material costs.)

The huge miniatures are really big. Consider the normal miniatures of which you get 8 of in a booster - if you're lucky, one is large and the rest are medium. With GoL, the huge miniatures probably use as much plastic as the rest of the miniatures combined, if not more. Add painting costs...

GoL will take me a lot longer to get a near-set of, though. Cases are impossible for me - I expect it will take 5-6 months to get 24 or so boosters (though I might be lucky).

These things are made in China. IT is a great money maker for Hasbro, that is all there is to it. Now they want to see how much more money they can make. I'll just keep buying Reaper, that way I get exactly what I want for my money and I like painting, even though I suck at it.

Plus this rarity thing is BS, nothing but a make you buy more marketing scam. I'll continue to pass.

so, the new 20 = 13ish , which you can look at as $1 each regular and $5 for a huge, or maybe just 1.50 each.

pre-painted. including things that would never get made if they sold them individually.

still a good deal by any stretch of the imagination.

The price hike will not change my buying habits - I'll buy the same for GOL that I bought for Archfiends (about 16 packs).

My only issue will be storage space, which I am rapidly running out of for minis.

Me too. I'm buying a case of 12, but then I'm going to order more over the next few months.

I stopped buying with Archfiends. I've got enough lead that I don't really need them and I have enough of Harbringer and Dragoneye to run a skirmish with 4 people. I might buy a single her or there from ebay or FRP Games.
