[new MnM rules question] Revised question: construct-o-rama?

Hey, if you put up the character ideas (assuming they aren't super secret) I bet you'd have a dozen ways to do each in about a day. Then you could take them apart and get a good understanding of how the system works.

EDIT: You might also consider ducking over to the Atomic Think Tank at mutantsandmasterminds.com, which are the official message boards for the game and have a lot of good stuff.

Pirate Kitty, something you'll come to realize the more you play with the MnM system is that all powers are pretty much the same, effect and cost wise, its just the special effects that are different.

A character with a Spear(Weapon) does the exact same thing as a Kung Fu Master(Strike), or a bear with its claws (Natural Weapon), or someone with a gun(weapon), or someone who can throw energy blasts. look at the effects that go into a power, and you can duplicate all but a few of the powers from scratch.

Super Strength 4PP/Rank
1: Base, all powers have a base cost of 1pp
2: Damaging
3: Strength Skill Bonus
4: Lifting (doubles your lifting amount for every rank)

Strike 2PP/Rank
1:Base Cost
2: Damaging

Weapon 1PP/Rank
1:Base Cost
2:Damaging
Flaw: Device, can be taken away

Energy Blast 2PP/Rank
1:Base Cost
2:Damaging

The actual effect of all these powers is the same

Coool. I was over-thinking.

Based on your advice, I rebuilt it and it works! Wulf, check your email; it even has superstrength to toss around buildings.
