I don't have the book in front of me -- was the SAGA system OGL?
SAGA was the oddball system that was used for Fith Age Dragonlance.
Star Wars Saga is not OGL; given Lucas licensing, that's not at all surprising.

I agree - I don't think a d20 modern based on 4e D&D would really have many legs, but one based on SWSE with some cleanup as drothgery mentions would be a real winner.
Cheers
Aye; Modern20, True20, or Star Wars Saga are all good bases for designing 'modern2.0'.And I third the motion. Although I like 4E quite a bit, the 4E I thought we were getting -- SAGA with the rough edges filed off -- was the system of my dreams. I'd look at a couple of the SAGA conversions on the board.
That said, I'd go with True20 or modern 20. Modern20 in particular is impressive for pure modern gameplay.

I believe you will be able to buy it anywhere. And by anywhere, I mean the RPGO site, Amazon or your local game store.
Any update on this? I notice that several of the other Modern supplements from RPGObjects are now available in print. . . but Modern20 appears to have been left off the list.
You know I've heard a lot about these "Blood and" series, but I don't know anything about them. What's the deal? What makes them great? Are the books a seperate ruleset from d20 Modern or are the books add-ons to d20 Modern?
Modern20 will be next, we're working on it right now.
Any ETA? I'm much looking forward to it, as Modern20 is the only d20 product I have the patience/time for anymore![]()
We also needed to update the supplements to be fully compliant with Modern20 Revised edition, which I finished just tonight.
What has changed in the Revised edition?
