new monk feat, inspired by Jaker2003

Nah, the real issue is that Str is rapidly becoming the defacto dump stat. With this feat, it's a viable dump stat choice for Clerics, Monks, Paladins and Rangers.

...and have DMs that don't inforce carrying limits at all, and don't mind doing horrible damage in combat. Str as a dump stat for paladins and rangers? Only if you like doing so little damage that the rest of the players start glaring at you all the time...

...neither of which does significant damage, as far as I can tell. It doesn't matter *how* good your chance of hitting is if you're only doing an average of 3.5 or 4.5 points of damage an attack. My half-dragon ogres will roast you and then eat you.

Yes, exactly. :)

(I was pointing out that TWF Rangers and Archery Rangers tend to low melee damage anyway.)

Okay, you lost me now. :) Could you run your argument by me one more time?

Just that, for a lot of PCs, Str is already an afterthought.
Weakening* Str would be bad.

That's all. No crushing über-build, just an observation. :)

* Okay, -2 points for bad pun.

Ah, I see. I don't really think that's the case, and I think it would be nice if something other than Cha got to experience being a dump stat. :) If you want to see Str become a dump stat, try playing Traveller d20. Even the party warrior only had a 13 Str...

Actually, one other thing: it makes Druids who love Wild Shape stronger. That's one demographic which needs no power boost. :)
