New planes?

Ha, yes I remember that excremental guy! Ick!

I thought about the Abyss layer, but then chaotic evil gets a monopoly on dung and the pit fiends, it just wouldn't be right (wait maybe that's why they are war!) Well, so it bars access to the nine Hells and all, so I would think it needs to have its own realm. Although it could possibly be one of the other places down there.

Edit: Ghastly: Imagine that excremental shaped like a nymph or succubus with a nice personality. ahg!

I can't think how you'd use it that you wouldn't use a layer of the Abyss, though. And, honestly, I'd want it as a layer of the abyss. That would be kind of neat -- I'm sure adventures have done this, but I haven't: use more specific layers of the abyss for things. Not just Graz'zt's layers, but there must be more, and they seem... underutilized.
Hmmm... does the 4E Abyss at the center of the Elemental Tempest have layers like it use to?

Nobody knows!

However, I'd guess "more or less", and that they're less elemental, more eeeevil, as you go down.

Even if it doesn't, the place is so huge that you could certainly chart political maps over it.

<Kazz> Do vampires have anuses? Cause that's why I wouldn't let this kid invade a vampire's anus in this RPG, right, I was GMing, and his character was an Anus Shade, with the power to possess and control the anuses of people and animals.. and I figured that vampires don't have anuses.
<Zaratustra> a vampire's anus is present, but non-working.
<Zaratustra> like a network card without the appropriate driver.
<Kazz> Wow. You're the biggest dork on Earth.
<Sharkey> And you're DMing an rpg with Anus Shades.

edit: This came off a little harsh -- I certainly don't mean to offend anyone's game or sensibilities. Just pointing out that the Turd Vampire has a referent in the, ah, literature. :)

How about something like this:

A mirror vampire can appear as a person’s reflection to drain the life out of people. When they meet their eyes in the mirror, it can dominate them and drain them and attack them directly from the mirror. It can move through mirrors and use mirror image at will, among other effects.

The turd vampire is like a classic vampire but tainted with a turd reality. It smells like bat guano and makes voodoo dolls out of people’s dung to drain them by biting the dung. It can use toilets as portals to attack people directly. It can blow a stinking cloud that allows it to mentally dominate those who smell it. It has other abilities, also, like fecal regeneration and summoning dung minnions. It can turn into a fecal slime or a stinking cloud.

Second level spell:

Acid Turd Missiles

These are conjured, acidic turds that shoot at a target like magic missiles. The target must save or be nauseated, and takes 1d4 dam per level of the caster (1 turd per level). The effects remain for 1rd/lev, doing addition acid and stench damage.

I don't really like theme/elemental/alignment, etc. based planes. But planes where the rules of reality and other such things don't work normally, or the manner of how the plane exists is different then a normal plane that I would like to see or simply a plane which plays out entirely different then your average plain. Sooo... More Sigilily type of planes, less Plane of Fire, Plane of True Neutral, etc.

Also would love to see more rules, ideas for interaction between different planes, like if two different planes somehow collide, etc. or different methods of travel between the planes.

As for the Turd Vampire he just sounds like a trully screwed over Masquerade style Nosferatu.

Besides, what's the difference between Crystal and Salt again?
Salt is the remnant of the waters of the world when the actual water has been destroyed. The caustic remnants of Water drifting towards Negative Energy.

Mineral (I'm guessing this is what you mean by crystal) is a rarified Earth, made precious glittering and valuable by ascendance towards Postive Energy.
