How about the Far Shadow, which would be to the Far Realms what shadow is to the material. You would have ancient shadow illithid necro horrors and stuff. It would be what even the Far Realms would consider as something they are afraid of.
Thinking of further places of horror and danger, what about where shadow-wights come from and are made of. Where will they fit in 4E?
