New Psionics Balance

As has been mentioned, the main focus of psywars has shifted from their feats to their powers. Their power selection is a lot wider than it was in 3.0, and they get more use out of each power.

So they can't use Psionic Weapon on every attack. Well, they don't need to - Psionic Weapon now does +2d6 damage instead of +1d4. The 3.0 Psionic Weapon can be modeled in 3.5 with Prescience, Offensive (+2 damage and that's augmentable, although the augment text looks like a copy-and-paste error).

Also consider this:Psionic Weapon (extra damage if you expend your focus) + Psionic Meditation (regain focus as a move action) + Hustle (1 swift action to gain extra move action in same round). With a good Concentration bonus you'd be getting +2d6/+4d6 once per round.

Thanks so much for putting that all together...

my 11thlvl psion/archery type is gonna be all over that. Ive been racking my brains trying to find things to do with those extra feats.
