New publisher for Iron Heroes,

Adam, that's great. :D I'm sure the game couldn't be in better hands.

[fanboy] I used to play with that guy. [/fanboy]

By the way, since Adam now owns the rights to Iron Heroes, that means he has the option of deciding whether to make any of the mechanics OGL if he wants to, right?

Well, two caveats:

1. Once content is Opened, it can't be Closed again. You can't put the genie back in the bottle.

2. Anything derived from Open Content has to be Open Content in turn.

So the game has been given to a guy, not a company? Isn't that a little strange?
Having it owned by a person may be better "JIC" the company goes belly up. The person leaves the dying company, product in tow rather than having the product sold off as a bankrupt company asset. Maybe the laws prevent that, but that's my guess.

If you like Dark Harbor, make certain you take a look at Blood Storm. It's set in the kingdom of Borat, and builds off of events that take place in Dark Harbor.

The kingdom of Borat? That'sa very nice! :)

I have the scoop on the new title:

Iron Heroes: Gaming Learnings For D&D For Make Benefit Of Glorious Game of Iron Heroes!

Oh cool, doesn't he list his personal fixes on the site?

Is there a chance we'll be getting a remastered/enhanced handbook?

Awesome! I'd love to see IH see some serious development and become a full-fledged ruleset, instead of the psuedo-beta stage it's at now. With just a little more work it could be absolutely amazing, and it's good to see someone take up the challenge!

The announcement says that a new pdf will be available, fixing errata, but it won't contain updates (like the revised armiger) over the original rules. Still, I think that's a better result than no new printing ever. :)
