Except you can neither dump charisma, nor intelligence stat, and your primary is strength, so you'll be a bit MAD.

INT adds to your REF and CHA to your WILL, and each boosts many Warlord powers, so you're not exactly hurting yourself being good with both. The only thing that hurts is having few points left for CON or DEX, which you need to qualify for desireable feats.

it's a damage bonus, not an attack bonus. Attack bonuses are far more valuable in 4E than damage bonuses.

Which is why I compared it to the damage bonus of Tactical Assault. Tactical Assault seemed like a nice feat, it gave your Tactical Presence a bonus higher than one in something without having to put your highest stat in INT. In 4e every attack bonus counts, but, an isolated +1 - especially one useable less than once per encounter per party member - can't help but feel anemic.
