New Rules FAQ

Has anyone looked over the new D&D Rules FAQ?

I just downloaded it and started looking through it. Is there anything controversial there?

I read over all the new stuff in blue type and everything seemed okay. There are a few questions I consider a waste of space as they are that simple, but other thern that it seems okay.

I don't what would be worse; If there is anything controversial in there, or that people might not have anything to complain and whine about if there isn't anything newly controversial in there.

Nothing that I could see as far as core rules goes.

There was a ruling the FRCS Persistent Spell feat which I didn't quite follow, but since I don't have or use that book/setting, I don't have the background with which to judge it. Also, the ruling on the slime wave spell (from MOTW) ran counter to how I would have read it.

The ruling on caster level bonuses in regard to making magic items was very welcome, since it does get asked quite frequently.

I also bet the new section on Deities & Demigods, particularly the part laying out how deity statistics are computed behind the curtain, will be eagerly received.

You don't have to use a standard action to activate Divine Might (DotF).

I forgot about that one.

"Command" is now "somewhat influence".

If you're still avoiding attacks when ordered to play dead or sleep you're not obeying to the best of your ability.
