Well how about some input on Bards then Mike? Just something about bardic traditions in general. That wouldn't be breaking NDA right? (Note: I did just want you to talk about THAT player's guide Mike, since I knew you wrote it.)

I was aware of this as well as what graf posted (from the prior SL thread) I was just curious if anything else was known. There are several races from the mythic races books that i'm itching to put in for the party to encounter. now I know where I can have them be from

Until the campaign book comes out and you realize it won't fit.
(I'm joking, but it'll be fun sticking all the things my PCs have already encountered into Termena in with all the stuff that's actually there....)

The god-kings thing is really cooking my noodle.
They aren't likely to be the big eight. Almost certainly they're new demi-gods.... all the S&S guys protestations aside I'm getting powerful Darksun images.
I want to give Drendari her own city state....

No offense to the lady of shadow but I'd like to see Nemorga get one too. Hollowfaust is nice, but a city run by his High Priest...could prove VERY intriguing.

I wouldn't say that Asherak is particularly similar to Dark Sun. From everything I have heard from Joe it seems to have a bit more of an Egyptian feel for the city states. Everyone is very religious and very dependeant on the powers of the Divine. The desert in the area is still a great big desert, there are only so many types of feels that you can get for it. And even then I think there is some unique stuff in store here. Overall what I have been told of Asherak is very cool.

its taking a while because his character only first heard about drendari last session and he is trying to do it without metagaming.

To be honest a Dark Sun feel wouldnt be too bad. I loved the setting, and ran an ongoing campaign from its release until a few months ago.
If it hadnt been for my discovery of the Scarred lands setting I would still be running it I think.
I would also have liked SS&S to have gotten a hold of its license. They have done wonders with Ravenloft, Im sure they would do Dark Sun justice
