The more things change, the more they stay the same ... and all that cliched crap. Supernatural is back and will still pair up with Smallville on the same Thursday night.

Technically, the 7th Heaven ended its series run on The WB, so like JAG it is jumping over to a new network ... technically. ;)

Sad news: Blue Collar TV is gone, y'all.

Even sadder news: no room for Mercy Reef/Aquaman.

Honestly, I don't know what to make of this technically new network, other than there are lesser craps from the two former networks.

You have it the other way around - CW thought many of their pilots were so bad (including the Aquaman one), they had to keep some of their other shows around (or so the link in the thread about Supernatural said).

Well, Aquaman never seemed like a good idea to me, so I'm not surprised if the pilot ended up like crap.

Hrm, doesn't look like there's anything there that interests me. I do admit that Veronica Mars is decent, whenever I caught it, but I could never remember what day it was on or to find out on the web, so I essentially only caught like 3 eps of that show.

Doesn't seem like there's much for me to watch this fall. :(

Dog Moon,

Does there EVER seem like much we watch these days in the fall that doesn't end up on the scrap heap.

At least Veronica Mars and Supernatural made it. Those are shows I'll watch.

That's why I spend my time on EnWorld. Much more enjoyable than watching crappy TV, though if it's a good show, I manage to surf EnWorld AND watch the show. ;)

The nightly The CW schedule will be as follows:

MONDAY
8pm: "7th Heaven"
9pm: "Runaway"

TUESDAY
8pm: "Gilmore Girls"
9pm: "Veronica Mars"

WEDNESDAY
8pm: "America's Next Top Model"
9pm: "One Tree Hill"

THURSDAY
8pm: "Smallville"
9pm: "Supernatural"

FRIDAY
8pm: "WWE Friday Night Smackdown"

SUNDAY
7pm: "Everybody Hates Chris"
7pm: "All of Us"
8pm: "Girlfriends"
9pm: "The Game"
9pm: Repeats

Hrm.......HRM.....It seems as almost ALL of the UPN shows tailored specifically for the "Urban" demographic have been shunted to sunday night..

*snicker*

Not that Everyone Loves Chris isint a great show, it is. Though I sort of expected that. Here in New York, the UPN affiliate ALREADY removed all branding naming UPN from its broadcast and shunted the UPN shows to sunday (for the last month Veronica Mars and Chris have been airing on sunday). They rebranded themselves "My 9".

Frankly I saw it as a very week attempt to distrupt UPN's ratings because whomever owns WWOR-TV is pissed as hell that their station was denied the CW affiliation in favor of WPIX-TV (Channel 11).

But I'm going on a weird tangent sorry. In any case, I make a strong prediction that "The Game" will consist of almost all Black football stars (or other minorities) with a token white chracter (most likely a single white woman married to a black football star).

Alyssa Milano came out and said one major reason that Charmed was cancelled was because the last two years it had become very difficult for the "sisters" who became executive producers on the show to deal with the network. One can only hope that like 7th Heaven SOMEONE sees the light and brings it back.

Yeah well for me I think a lot of "charmed" died when they killed off Prue. But eh, we'll see. I still wish they had a better villian than "evil witches!"

Great News: Veronica Mars is coming back! (how on Earth could you not mention that?)
Because I can't squeal like a little girl like you. :p

Trust me, it would be a national tragedy that the merging network won't pick that show up.
