This is a fabulous idea. Having this available from a web page would be very nice. With regards to the comment about asking other card creators for help, perhaps you could make use of their data entry for your project. It would not be too hard to import their data from MSE into your database.

General power card feedback: The main problems we encountered with power cards were the many power variants. I'll list a few examples.

• Multiclass wizard at-will powers as encounter powers
• Half-Elf racial at-will powers as encounter powers

I had considered using someone's MSE data as a basis for the cards, however MSE stores its data in a binary format of some sort. almuric is currently working on some scripts to to import the power data from Cut & Paste text out of the PHB PDF.

Thanks for the feedback. Yea, I have noticed some of these but thanks for the reminder. I should be able to duplicate the data for these At-Wills pretty easily and make them Multi-Class Encounter powers.

To everyone, almuric has been working on converting all of the Power text into a format that I can easily import into the database. This should be done "soon"... no pressure almuric =)

At this point, the help that I need for the site will be:

- Editting the Power. Inserting the side box text, making sure that all of the errata is in the powers correctly, and just fixing any other mistakes.

- Creating CSS styles for the cards themselves. Some people like their cards to look like the DnD Mini cards, some like Grandpa's layout, some like others. My hope is to be able to replicate all of these various card styles and just have one set of data behind it. I hope to have a kit out soon to help people create these styles. This would include my current styles (so they can be used as a basis for new ones), and sample HTML pages that get formatted by the styles.

I want to thank everyone that has offered their help on this project, I have always wanted this to be a community project and it is getting there.

The thing I am most keen on getting is some Item cards. Do you have a data format yet for items? I don't think anyone has brute forced that data yet, although I might have just missed it.

I could whip something up in Access but it may be a pain to convert to whatever you are using. I am eager to do some data entry, and may be able to recruit some of my group into the army.

From what I am hearing from almuric, the Powers should be in the database by early next week.

I have not begun work on any other card types yet. Once the Power cards are up and usable, then I will start working on the other types of cards. Items seem like a good option to start working on next.

I'll tell you a trick if you promise to give credit to whoever's MSE set you use as a database...

The MSE-SET files are flat TEXT files that have been zipped. Just unzip them and a file should appear called 'set'. This file is entirely in a text format that's fairly easy to format to your needs.

Yea, I would definitely give credit to the who ever did the work.

I think I have Powers pretty much in hand already, though I may take a look at a few files just to see how others are setting up their data. But once I start working on items, this may be a good starting point at least.

Hirahito , would you be willing to let me use your card set as a basis for my Items and other cards?
