I took a stab at converting D&D skills (used in DB quite cleverly in places I must say) to DDM special abilities or other aspects of the stat cards. It's pretty late so I could be way off on some.

Some I have no idea... Skills could just be ignored I guess to speed things up or just the commander rating could be used. I kinda like the idea of having bonuses. I figured having the skill would give a +4 bonus to checks in that skill.
