New to Pathfinder and I need help with Aldori Swordlord build

Guys I convinced my group to start on Pathfinder and I was going to run it but one of the other DM's really wanted to run Kingmaker so I'm now playing. I really liked the fluff for the Aldori and thought I'd make one (since I haven't played a fighter class in awhile). So I'm just seeing if there is some advice for me. Also due to a group story line I'm playing a half elf. Also I'm not really looking to optimize with different class dips since I'm new to Pathfinder I was just looking for a good feat tree and trait swaps (don't know most of these).

Thanks guys!

There's a feat for Aldori swordlords in the Inner Sea World Guide that I think is pretty pre-req heavy so that would give you some idea of where to go. (Aldori Dueling Mastery)

There's an fighter Archtype for them in the Inner Sea Primer Aldori Swordlord and a PrC for them in Paths of Prestige (coming out next month).

One more question I see 2 feats with the same name Aldori Dueling Mastery. One you have to have a +12 BAB and is pretty powerful and the second on the SRD isn't as powerful and only takes four feats to get to. My question is which one is right or are they supposed to be levels of the same feat that you have to buy (ie.. and improved one)?

Thanks

Do you have the source for the two feats? I only know of the one...

I would like to pass on a bit of wisdom I got from a friend of mine about new players and classes. Start with something simple (a non combo class and nothing super special in terms of background for the class), he recommended a fighter (just about any type) or a barbarian. Mostly to learn the rules of the game. After that he would tell the player to go to something a little more advanced, like a ranger or a sorc. Then something with more variables like a rogue or a monk, and finally a wizard.

I find this is a great system. If you start with something small you can build on what you know. If you really want something for kingmaker specifically, I would highly recommend a ranger. All just my own .02 cents, as always around here. :D

Sorry if I didn't come across correctly on this, I've been playing 3.0/3.5 since it came out and 2nd Ed before that so its not the classes that are giving me the trouble its the new system. I'm just not too sure where to find everything since we just switched over to Pathfinder.

Thanks.

Well... the Archetype is not THAT bad...

If I were to give out suggestions, take a very high DEX to benefit from the Finessable quality of the weapon. There is a racial replacement for the half-elf that lets you switch Skill Focus with Exotic Weapon Proficiency with any weapon, so there's that, one less feat to worry about and you can start on lvl 1 with power attack (Your lvl 1 feat), weapo prof (Racial) and Weapon Finesse (Fighter bonus feat). A score of 18 dex will suffice (16 from the pointbuy, +2 Racial) and try to get a 14 str, since 14s are relatively cheap at 5 points; The rest of the stats are dumpable (yes, even CON).

My most honest advice on Aldori Dueling is... DON'T. I would only recommend it on low optimization games.

For the follow-up feats, consider that pathfinder added a lot of viable options. Furious Focus, the Step Up-chain, Lunge are all good. Weapon specialization on 4th level; Cleave (which works differently); Improved critical, further along; etc...

Thanks for the info guys, I found out they changed the feat and the one with the BAB of +12 isn't in play anymore. And Ramaster I'm not too worried about optimization more the flavor for role playing.
