I hated it, and feel it totally misdiagnosed me. Nearly every item was something that I could easily think of exceptions to, and so I didn't click the rightmost "agree" option even once. There just isn't a single one of those statements that I can agree to wholeheartedly and without qualification.

We should criticize these people! :)

I'm kinda surprised at how extreme the results have been, it seems like almost everyone here is 85%-100% something, instead of being a mix of a bunch of stuff.
Well, you have to remember too that people on these boards are usually pretty hardcore into the hobby. So it's to be expected that their test results would be skewed higher - they are more into the game. Does that make any sense?

I scored:
Character Player: 95%
Storyteller: 90%
Tactician: 65%
Casual Gamer:50%
Weekend Warrior: 15%
Power Gamer: 15%
Specialist: 5%

Edit: Since some people took the test multiple times, I thought that I would note that the above numbers were my second set results. The first time around I had scored Storyteller 95%, Character Player 90% and Tactician 60%. So, out of curiousity, I took the test a third time and got the following:

You scored as Storyteller. The Storyteller is in it for the plot: the sense of mystery and the fun of participating in a narrative that has the satisfying arc of a good book or movie. He enjoys interacting with well-defined NPCs, even preferring antagonists who have genuine motivations and personality to mere monsters. To the Storyteller, the greatest reward of the game is participating in a compelling story with interesting and unpredictable plot threads, in which his actions and those of his fellow characters determine the resolution.

Storyteller:95%
Character Player:90%
Tactician: 65%
Casual Game: 55%
Weekend Warrior: 20%
Power Gamer:15%
Specialist:10%

So, this third time around, there was a 5% variance on everything except Tactician and Powergamer which both stayed the same.

For the most part, I agree with the results. The exception being tactician. I am not quite sure why tactician scores as high as it does.

I got:
Character Player

75%
Storyteller

70%
Tactician

50%
Weekend Warrior

30%
Casual Gamer

30%
Power Gamer

10%
Specialist

5%

That's probably as close as any test is going to get to correct for me. :)

Here's my results...

You scored as Character Player.

The Character Player enjoys creating in-depth characters with distinct and rich personalities. He identifies closely with his characters, feeling detached from the game if he doesn’t. He takes creative pride in exploring different characters, often making each new one radically different than others he’s played. The Character Player bases his decisions on his character's psychology first and foremost. He may view rules as a necessary evil at best, preferring sessions in which the dice never come out of their bags. For the Character Player, the greatest reward comes from experiencing the game from the emotional perspective of an interesting character.

Storyteller: 70%
Character Player: 70%
Weekend Warrior: 50%
Tactician: 50%
Casual Gamer: 45%
Power Gamer: 30%
Specialist: 30%
