New Writer for Mongoose

It's not a system I know, and I tend to stick to D&D and the d20 System. The main exceptions have been Earthdawn and Alternity. If the books have a lot of detail then I just might buy them for the Lankhmar setting.

FYI: Runequest has D&D-like stats, with 3d6 the norm. Magic is a "magic points" system so if you treat it as XPH psionics you will probably be okay. Skills, including attacks, are percentages but I think a reasonable %->skill rating mechanic can be derived.

I have seen you on Morrigan's Atlantis list. Are you still going to be doing some stuff for Morrigan's OMNI, or are you exclusively doing Mongoose now?

However, if I had one wish then it would be that Mongoose put out a single book that converts the Runequest rules to the OGL rules uded for the Conan RPG. Heck, even a Web Enhancement for the main Lankhmar book that gives a short overview of how to convert Runequest characters to the Conan RPG would be enough.

That could bring about some cross sales. In fact, I know it would, since I've yet to buy the Conan RPG, and if I could use its rules for Lankhmar then I would be very happy.

Pretty similiar boat. I like Conan and the Twain but two seperate systems? Have to see what type of graphic presentation. If it's as good as the Conan core book, I might be sold anyway.

That's too bad. I was reallly hoping for D20. I use to play Runequest years ago- even ran an old Thieve's World campaign with it from Choasium's Box Set. However, my group would most likely not be interested in that system. I'm sure Mongoose will do a good job regardless. Thanks Maester Luwin
