Re: Gaming report Day 3

(Hmm Wizkids the next WotC?)
I believe they are. The lines and crowd around their booth (well actually area almost as big as Wizards) were huge. Reminded me of when Magic was in its heyday.
I thought maybe eTools would cause the Wizards section to be packed but I was able to go straight up to the registers and buy it if I wanted to without waiting.

Peace and smiles :)

I think aprt of the flop of e-tools was no promotion in the store. My friends didn't even think it was out and I believe Wulf mentioend he didn't know it was out either. They have these things in CD sleeves. No cases. NO displays were out. If you didn't know what you were looking for, you wouldn't find it. Bad move WoTC. Another example of bad store stragety. Thank god the sold the retail stores. Maybe someone with some sense can make some money on 'em. I mean Games Workshop must know what their doing or they wouldn't be opening more and more stores over here so it can be done.

Eric Noah's Gencon Report. Need I say more?
With all due respect to Eric Noah (read his report which is cool BTW), I was hoping for some meatier news like scoops on new products, surprise announcements (did everyone remembered Decipher's surprise announcement that they acquired Star Trek license unbeknownst to Wizards?), ... stuff you don't hear through normal channels.

Of course, GenCon is not just about D&D and d20. I'd like to hear other game companies and publishers and their plan for the future (new products, new acquisitions, etc.).

Oh, and in case I didn't say this before, Krug ... I really appreciate your effort for standing in and report whatever news for EN World, even if through the message boards.

What can I say? I'm a game news junkie.

New at WotC: Epic progression for Oriental Adventures Core Class characters!
Dear Andy Collins and Wizards of the Coast,

Could I have this in a PDF file format?

Sincerely,
Ranger REG

P.S. Since OA monk varies from the PHB version, could you add an OA variant of the epic-level monk class from the Epic Level Handbook?

P.P.S Then again, maybe I should wait for James Wyatt's version of Epic-Level OA. :D
