Green would look downfield and then if he had nothing, he would dump it off 5 yards to Priest who would get a lot of YAC. Now teams know they can play single coverage with the rest of the WR's.

Well they didn't pass the ball to Priest either... As I said Trent Green played one of the worst games of his career...

Well, I was glad my falcons pulled it off. It wasn't always pretty, but it did the job. And as Vick gets more used to the new West Coast offense Mora brought to Atlanta, he should get more dangerous. So maybe it will be a good season.

Dallas played well too. Vinny had 350 and 2 TDs! But I'm eagerly awaiting Week 2 so I can see if our defense really has crumbled into nothing, or if the Vikings were just unstoppable. It certainly wasn't confidence inspiring defense.

Yeah, I didn't expect Da Boys to find their midseason form so quickly.

Ya, the Colts lose was tough since they played some of the best football by a loosing team.

Hey, the Bills defense held Jacksonville to 145 total yards for 58 minutes of the game before they self-destructed. Offense still only scored 10 points and had the usual fumble-itis.

But they failed. Once Sherman realized that no, you can't run on every down, no matter how good your linemen and running backs are, and that he still does have Brett Favre, so that's not really a problem, the game was pretty much over.

The Panthers didn't look that great last night. No one was really talking about them in preseason and maybe for good reason. It didn't get any better for them either: Steve Smith broke his leg. Ouch.

He'll be playing by week 6 (after their bye week). I can tell you one thing he'll be doing this season: getting sacked a lot.
