The arrow breaks on the vulture's feathers.

Round 188: The vulture hops to 40N10E and aims at the wrong spot (miss change 08%). The vulture has 40 HP remaining.

Paulina drops her bow on the vulture's head, then sets down and draws her sword.

(Free: drop bow, MEA: to 60N40E00Z while drawing sword, Std: readied attack if vulture comes in reach)

OOC: I Paulina's polymorph wasn't limited to 1HD creatures I could make this a fight. :)

Paulina hits (natural 20, 15-2(sick)+2(charge)+2(invisible)=17 to confirm crit) the vulture in the neck for 1 point of damage. The vulture has 39 HP remaining.

Round 190: The vulture misses completely.

Should I time compress this battle now that it looks like no one will be going anywhere?

The pixie is an invisible blur of motion, stabbing and swiping with her little sword against the much larger vulture.

OOC RE: time compress
Yep, I've pretty much discarded the option of polymorph into a wild elf or wood elf to gain strength in exchange for AC, and the lesser confusion really won't buy me much either.
I don't envy you the die-rolling that will now come...

Blah blah blah

In round 197, Paulina was bitten for 1 point of damage, leaving her with 2 HP.
In round 199, Paulina finally got over the stench (natural 20 Fort save), and will not have to worry about it again.
Round 202: Paulina hits the vulture for 1. The vulture has 34 HP and is not hit again.
Round 204: The vulture bites for 12-10=2. Paulina is at 0 HP and disabled. If she takes only one MEA per turn, she will not lose a hit point. Any more action and she will be unconscious. What does she do?

She'll move away invisible with the one MEA a turn, take to the air and try to force a draw.

(that's right, all this for a draw in 39 turns or so of fight time)
