well finally caught up (except last episode which they decided to show a rerun rather then the one with abby's mom).

They tried to use the landback movement for a joke and didn't have a single 1st nation person involved. Because apparently minorities are interchangable (head slams on desk).

On the other hand, it's important for marginalized people to show solidarity and support each other's causes vocally. We are all stronger together. But yes, it could/should have been two defendants, one being native, which would have made the solidarity point stronger.

It turns out that Abby knows Russian, even if just a little bit.

Dan at least seems to know what “no” is in Russian.

Watched the first episode

John Laroquette is doing great.

The rest, feels kinda formulaic, but I'm looking forward to compare it to She Hulk over the season.

Aw yes!! I haven’t seen it yet, but I know what I’ll be watching this weekend. I loved the show when it was originally on, especially JL as Dan Fielding. Such a good actor and the best sort of comic timing.

Yeah. There’s definitely some kind of story there, because it’s apparent she changed him profoundly.

In the original series, the last episode features Dan following Christine as she switches careers with the goal of becoming a man worthy of her. So there's that.
