Yeah, I didn't have much money for comic books as a kid, so I never got to read as many as I'd've liked.

If you want to mix some actual spellcasting in there, the reserve feat Dimension Jaunt works really nice. Something to the effect of Rogue 3/Swashbuckler 3/Sorcerer 1/Abjurant Champion 5/Unseen Seer 8 would probably work really nicely.

Nightcrawler first got portrayed as a dual-sword wielding badass in the Age of Apocalypse storyline.

He was depicted as a badass fencer long before that, actually. The Nightcrawler miniseries (from circa 1990) is one of my favorite examples.
