Nightmare Spinner Bonus Spells

I've just got my first level in Nightmare Spinner (Complete Mage).

However, I'm unsure about the bonus I'm getting from one of the abilities of the prc: the Bonus Spells.

The ability gives detailed information about how you get bonus illusion spells similar to a specialist illusionist if you are a 'prepared' spellcaster, or a bonus spellslot you can only use to cast illusion spells when you don't prepare spells.

However, I have both Sorcerer AND Wizard levels (and Ultimate Magus levels, but that's beside the point).

Do I get:

A. Bonus prepared AND bonus slots, for both my sorcerer AND wizard side.
B. Need to choose to get bonus slots for either sorcerer OR wizard.
C. Ask My DM whether A or B would apply in this case.

Although opinions are welcome, if possible, provide a ruling reference (FAQ and even (other) messageboard discussion acceptable)

If you read the rules they usually tend to say that you need to designate which class, so your answer is most likely B.

If your DM lets you get away with Ultimate Magus (I dont know if thats allowed) that is his call.

Usually, they do.

In this case, caster progression explicitly states you have to choose if you have more than one spellcasting class.

The Bonus Spells section, however, does not:

Bonus Spells (ex) : If you normally prepare spells, you can prepare and cast one additional illusion spell per spell level each day. This ability works just like (and stacks with) a specialist wizard's extra school spell.
If you don't need to prepare spells, you gain one extra spell slot per spell level, which can be used only to cast an illusion spell.

As there is no stipulation forcing you to choose, I'd apply bonus spell slots to both classes. But I'd also run it by my DM just to make sure. S/He might rule that the bonus slots only apply to the spellcasting class whose casting you progress with Nightmare Spinner level 2-5.

Reading this strictly, the bonus spells slots are wizard spells. You normally prepare spells, so the first paragraph applies.

That said, the class was clearly written with the expectation that the character would be a wizard or a sorcerer, not the multiclass combination that you have. As a DM, I would have no problem letting you take the sorcerer option instead of the wizard option.
