Kung-Fu Genius
Some styles of martial arts require the student to memorize advanced medical texts and anatomical charts. These styles favor the intellectual over the introspective.
Prerequisite: Int 13, must be gained at or before the first level of the monk class, or the ninja class, is taken.
Benefit: You use your Intelligence modifier rather than Wisdom for all monk and ninja special abilities that normally rely on Wisdom.
Kung-Fu Savant
Some styles of martial arts require the student to become the eptiome incarnate of spiritual fervor, deceptive motion or feral passion. These styles favor an expressive mind over an introspective one.
Prerequisite: Cha 13, must be gained at or before the first level of the monk class, or the ninja class, is taken.
Benefit: You use your Charisma modifier rather than Wisdom for all monk and ninja special abilities that normally rely on Wisdom.
Sleight of Soul [Ki]
You can expend your Ki to imbue yourself with incarnum. (inspired by Divine Soultouch)
Prerequisite: Con 13, Ki power
Benefit: You can spend a daily use of your Ki power as a free action to add 1 point of essentia to your essentia pool for 1 round. For the duration of this effect, your essentia capacity in all soulmelds, incarnum feats, and other essentia-powered abilities is increased by 1. You can use this ability (or the ability granted by the Divine Soultouch feat) once per round.
Shed Hindrance [Ki]
You can expend your Ki to make a second save against an effect that specifically targets you. (inspired by Persistent Refusal)
Prerequisite: Ki Power
Benefit: As a swift action, you can spend one daily use of your Ki Power to make another save against any effect that targets you and has a continuing duration. For example, on his turn, a ninja with this feat who fails a saving throw to resist the effect of a hold monster spell can spend a daily use of his Ki Power as a swift action to attempt another save.
